Allgemeines

Implantate sind in Fallout: New Vegas von Doktor Usanagi erhältlich, einer Ärztin von den Anhängern der Apokalypse die auch das Krankenhaus New Vegas leitet. Other special implants are available in Big MT in the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Old World Blues.

Die meisten Implantate verhalten sich ähnlich wie das Intensives Training perk. Sie erhöhen eine Charaktereigenschaft dauerhaft um 1. Ausnahme sind die teureren Implantate von Dr. Usanagi, sowie die Implantate aus Old World Blues (add-on). Sie Verstärken den Charakter auf andere Weise, z.B. durch hinzufügen einer Regenerationsfähigkeit, oder das Erhöhen der Schleichgeschwindigkeit. Implantate können auch erworben werden, wenn der SPECIAL-Wert bereits 10 beträgt, allerdings haben sie dann keine Auswirkung mehr.

Die mögliche Anzahl an Implantaten von Dr. Usanagi entspricht der Ausdauer des Charakters. Hierbei zählt nur die Basisausdauer, die der Charakter ohne Boni durch Implantate oder Gegenstände zur Verfügung hat. Ausnahme ist hierbei Intensives Training, jeder weitere Punkt zur Ausdauer des Charakters ermöglicht ein weiteres Implantat. Implantate aus dem Add-On sind von dieser Regel ausgenommen.

Erworbene Boni durch Implantate wirken als dauerhafte Erhöhung der SPECIAL-Werte und beeinflussen die perks, die der Spieler erhalten kann.

Fallout: New Vegas

Dr. Usanagi sells implants to augment your physical abilities, and two special implants to augment the player's combat performance. Only one of each type can be installed.

These implants can be obtained from the Sink Auto-Doc in the Big MT.

Notes

• A starting Endurance of 9 will guarantee you the ability to get every implant. An Endurance of 7 will allow you to get all SPECIAL increasing implants.
• In normal mode, the PHOENIX Monocyte Breeder can effectively replace the need to sleep in order to regain health. Waiting will restore 12 hp an hour, or 288 hp in 24 hours, meaning it will often only take a single day of waiting to restore health. It also restores health during fast travel.
• If the player has a INT stat of 3 or below, Usanagi will offer the implant for a reduced price.
• If the player has enough caps, all of the implants available in the Old World Blues (Add-On) can be bought, greatly strengthening the player's constitution.
• Purchasing implants from Doctor Usanagi is an Unmarkierte Quests, Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger in Fallout: New Vegas.

Bugs
